Signs Along the Writing Road
 

I look at writing as simply another way to teach people how much God loves them. When I remember that I choose each word more carefully. I want my work to be something that will lead people to the Lord and keep them on the right path.

I also look at the school zone sign as meaning that we have to be willing to learn the craft of writing before we can make a difference in the lives of people with our writing. We have to take advantage of the books, conferences, email discussion lists, and other opportunities to learn how to write, to market, and do whatever it takes to reach the world with our words.
