One of my best decisions:

www.christianwritersguild.com
I can always find an excuse not to write. I joined the Jerry B. Jenkins' Christian Writers Guild for the discipline of meeting assignment deadlines. Most writers would love a mentor, but as author/speaker Ken Gire said, "Everyone is busy." Each Guild apprentice is assigned a mentor. Mine provided me invaluable feedback, encouragement, and the occasional “verbal kick in the pants” to avoid trite writing or to “Show, not tell.”
